Comment - Jimmy Cason: Amanda Wicker, born 1876, was the daughter of Christopher and Sarah Wicker, married George Baylor Cason about 1895. He was my GreatGreatGrandfather. Christopher was a decorated war hero of the Confederate Army.

Wicker born 27 Sept 1827 Knotts Island, NC died 9 Sept 1889 Knotts Island, NC who married Fanny Waterfield born 14 May 1823 and died 27 Feb 1915. 2) Mary Wicker, 3) Christopher Wicker born 5 July 1836 d 20 April 1910 Knotts Island, NC. Married Sarah Bowden* born 16 April 1841/1844 and died 10 Jan 1909/1903. 4) Willilam Wicker b 1839 and 5) Julia Wicker born 1843. Christopher born 1836 had children William J. Wicker born 1867, 2) Mary Wicker 3) Amanda who married George Baylor/Bailer Cason and 4) Nancy Wicker born 1869 died 24 April 1926 married John Thomas White son of Luke White. * - corrected per Cindy Scott comments.

Thomas Cason, born in 1604, died in 1652 was my 11th Great Granddaddy. He and is wife, Elizabeth had three children, Thomas born 1642 and died 1665, James born 1643 and died 1665 and Ruth born 1645 and died 1700.

James Cason, born 1642 and died in 1665 at 23 yrs. old, was my 10th Great Granddaddy. James and his wife, Jane, had only one child, James, Jr. who was born in 1658.

James Cason, Jr., born 1658 and died between 1720 and 1722, was my 9th Great Granddaddy. He and His wife, Ann, had six children; Elizabeth, born 1691, James born 1696, William born in 1698 and died in 1766, Thomas, died Aug 24, 1737, Susanna,and Dinah. * James born in 1658 wrote his will in 1720 and it was probated 1 Aug 1722. He probably died in 1722. His children 1)William died in Pitt Co., NC in 1764 and married Jane Cannon. 2)Thomas d 24 Aug 1737 will dated 1 Feb 1737 will probated 1 Feb 1738 Princess Anne Co., VA, 3) Elizabeth b ca 1691 married Capt. John Whitehurst, 4) Susannah marriedd Edmund/Edmond Moore (his will 24 Jan 1786 and will probated 17 Mar 1786 was the parents of Cason Moore. 5)Dinah married John Wilbur, Sr son of William Wilbur, 6) James born before 1 Oct 1696 will dated 11 Oct 1759 and probated 21 July 1761 in Princess Anne Co., VA married Sarah (her last name might be Henley ??) James and Sarah had 6 children 1)James will written 4 Sept 1783 and probated 1785 wife was Dinah (unknown maiden name. 2)Hillary Cason, 3)Charles Cason 4)William, 5. Cornelius Cason, Sr. 6)John Cason, Sr. 7) Anne Cason married John Munden. (James name his grandson Solomon Cason son of James).

Moses Cason, died in 1800, was my 6th Great Granddaddy. He and his wife, Frances, had four children, Elijah, born 1778 and died in 1813, Anne, born 1780, Sally, born 1783 and Easter, born 1785.

Elijah Cason, born 1778 and died in 1813, was my 5th Great Granddaddy. He and his wife, Ann, had no children. Elijah and his 2nd wife, Abiah Simpson had three children; Moses, born in 1805 and died in 1888, John Martin, born in 1807 and died in 1829 at 22 yrs. old and Ann (Anney).

John Martin, born in 1807 and died in 1829, was my 4th Great Granddaddy. He and his wife, Lydia Smith, had 2 children; William S. born in 1827 and Jerome Bonaparte, born in 1830, never knew his father and died in 1907.

Jerome Bonaparte Cason, born in 1830 and died in 1907 was my 3rd Great Granddaddy. He and his wife, Julia Ansell, had four children; Jerome B., Jr., born in 1865 and died in 1956, George Bailer, born in 1872 and died in 1949, Luvenia, died young and infant Cason, (no name given) died at birth.

Jerome B. Cason, born in 1865 and died in 1956, was my Great Granddaddy. He and is wife, Madora J. Waterfield, had ten children; Wilbur W., born in 1889 and died in 1956, John C. born in 1891 and died a hermit in 1963, Addie Lorraine born 1894 and died 1982, Edgar Leroy born 1896 and died in 1979, Paul Lesley (always called Jack) born in 1900 and died in 1974, Clyde Hallett born in 1902 and died in 1926, Everett born

1898 and died in 1982, infant died at birth in 1907 and 2 other children, died in death. Madora died birthing her 10th child.

Addie Lorraine Cason, born in 1894 and died in 1982, was my GrandMother. She and her husband, Marshall Shelton White born in 1893 and died in 1961, had seven children; Alethia (Eeky) born in 1912 and died in 2003, Madora (Dora) born in 1914 and died in 2007, Rondell Shelton born 1916 died of diphtheria in 1921, Infant girl born 1920 and died in 1925, I think, Marguerite Elizabeth born in 1921, Laurel Hortense born in 1925 and Sibyl Lorraine born in 1932.

Marguerite E. White born in 1921 is my Mother. She and my Daddy, Gilbert Wootson Driver had three children; Dawn Lee born in 1942, Larry Odell Driver (now Larry Howard) born in 1944 and Jerri Lyn born in 1948. Marguerite married a 2nd time to Robert Carl Howard born in 1926. They had no other children.

I am Jerri Lyn Driver, born in 1948 married Thomas B. Lowery and had one child; Terry Wayne Lowery. Jerri married a 2nd time to Frank A. Powers and had no other children.

Terry Wayne Lowery born in 1966, son of Jerri Lyn married to Erika and had one child, Heather born in 1986. Terry married a 2nd time to Wendy, had one child, Justine born in 1990..
